Does anyone have any info about the dog that has been attacking the Black swans and other large slow moving waterfowl on the brook. Rumour has it that a man living along Brook street with a white beard regulary wears a black leather jacket and hat has been seen walking his argressive black dog late at night drunk. He was seen pulling the dog off a large bird on the 22nd of Jan on the lawn at approx 12.20am Please please please could anyone with any info on this subject post comments and try and catch this beastly pair. Or at least ask him to keep his dog on a lead at all times!
Well, I agree that this behaviour is unacceptable, and the dog should be kept on the leash.
However you said yourself, he was seen trying to pull the dog away, which is a brave thing to do, and if it was a sawn, then it only takes one flap of its wing and the dog or the man could recieve a broken arm etc quite easily.
However hearsay and online talk is no good, discussion information like this is and can be illegal.
I can only suggest if you have information of this or anythink like this, first inform the Duck Warden "Waterfowl Warden" or the police, do not take things like this into your own hands, and please don't bring subjects like this online.
