Dawlish ice-cream shop, The Local Scoop, has had a bumper start to Devon County Show thanks to the blazing sunshine. There was a queue of customers for the award-winning ice-cream for most of the first day of the Show.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Teignbridge’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows. The Lansdowne, a pub, bar or nightclub at Lansdowne Hotel Park Road Dawlish Devon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 24.
