Update on the Monday Mayhem of Dawlish…
DCC Highways enforcement have found that Wales and West Utilities were not manually operating lights as was stipulated in their permission. They will be checking daily that this is in place and will be fining the company if it’s not.
On a side note, the SWW works at Sandy Lane are now taking out a lot of material from the ground which means lorries needing access.
Thanks to the supervisor at Devon County Council and her team for the calls and action today.
