An extensive search and rescue operation took place off Teignmouth last night (April 1st) following reports of a fully clothed man entering the water at Sprey Point, near Holcombe.

The Teignmouth detachment of the Army Cadet Force (ACF) is to relocate from its base at the bottom of Bitton Park in Teignmouth to Dawlish this month. The move was originally due to be a temporary relocation while the community units at the bottom of Bitton Park were redeveloped.
