Eh? Surely the owners were insured ?  Is it too much of a coincidence that this is in wrigley territory hence lib dem council involvement?

Was there really ‘overwhelming’ agreement to support further exploration into buying the 17th century pub with the aim of running it as a community pub? Or is that just what the MDA and Wrigley want us to believe?

@1263

On insurance, it has been referred to as an 'uninsurable event'. Some might call it  'an act of God'. Both of which seems a load of BS as the pub was just neglected over a long period of time and the issue was well known.

Or is neglect now classed as 'an act of God'?
