AN INSPIRATIONAL Dawlish woman has 'transformed' the life of a stranger after buying a wheelchair for a woman she had never met.

The scheme involves raising the beach level at Dawlish Warren by 2m, as well as removing gabions along the sand spit, upgrading the revetments, dredging and recharging the beach and reinforcing the neck of the sand spit.
