You can see then that Teignmouth will get the people, all located between the beach and shops. Why Dawlish does not make more use of the Lawn I will never know, but then I have never felt they really want visitors ..but they do want their money!
Have you noticed on the beach in 2013.. so many people are on their mobile phones? ...why be so attached to it and sending messages to Facebook telling people 'I'm by the sea.' ..does ANYONE care! Leave the thing at home for a change...reckon people could not survive more than five minutes without one in their life..
The new generation dont think they will ever get old ,,,,they have a shock coming to them! Many have no thought or respect for anyone!
Should you not all be paying Dawlish.com for all these adverts? Hmm that phrase ..'jack of all trades ,,master of none' comes to mind,. I would rather go to someone who specialises.

One day the line may be taken by the sea and the railway forced to by-pass Dawlish and go in land....be no need to worry about the paint colour then lol.
I can see no point to it at all, except that it matches the path system on the Brunswick side. Maybe they had money that had to be spent somewhere. Last weekend I went to Andover, Hampshire, just a small town...has a multi storey car park built to link directly into an indoor shopping centre with big name shops like M and S with independants .. I only saw two empty shops and two charity shops. ...
Guess they had money to spend.....I would have left it as it was. Cant see by what they have done makes it any more of a 'must go to' place. As you you've said somwehere B ..it was all too late.
