When my daughter was at primary school (not in Dawlish) it wasn't unusual to have certain parents decide that the pavement was in fact the highway and drive along it as far as they could in order that their little darlings could get as near as possible to the school gate. Needless to say there was a near miss or two.

Yes I agree that whatever it will contain when it becomes an Act is not known yet and that until it is an Act it is not law. However, we are talking sometime soonish and remember that the Local Plan (howsoever many times it gets amended between now and 2033) will no doubt be subject to other planning and housing legislation between now and 18 years time.

Recommendations anyone? Don't go to the chip shop that often - it is a treat. So when I have these occasional treats I do like them to be just that - a treat. And I don't regard luke warm chips a treat anymore than not receiving my complete order (piece of fish missing and how much is cod these days?)
