Recommendations anyone?

Don't go to the chip shop that often - it is a treat. So when I have these occasional treats I do like them to be just that - a treat.

And I don't regard luke warm chips a treat anymore than not receiving my complete order (piece of fish missing and how much is cod these days?)

So would really appreciate recommendations of a good chip shops in Dawlish Town or Warren area. What is the one at Starcross like?

Thanks.

Chippy Chaps or La Cantina in the Warren by a mile (not either of the other two whatever you do!). Chip Ahoy on Queen Street is the only consistently good one in Dawlish these days. Kenny's at Starcross is not worth bothering with.

A report for Chip ahoy.

Chips were not very good, soft and not a nice golden brown but a dirty white colour. Fish batter was like soggy cardboard and fish was dry.

Very disappointed indeed.

Not chippy chaps as they don't pay their bills

I for one will not support a business that operates in this way.

They have lost our £12 a week

Chip shop owners who don't  pay  their  bills  should be battered.
