I must admit in NZ it meant local councils had to give them special dispensation from the likes of wht you mention. The restrictions were : meat has to be kept on ice, disposable gloves worn when handling the raw meat and hats worn. None of which are biggies to overcome. Here is an idea imported from the Antipodes. In NZ & Australia to raise funds for local groups (schools, scouts and the likes) they held what thay called 'sausage sizzles'.
