Late night shopping in Dawlish tonight.

Please be aware there are ‘Professional Beggars’ from an organised gang currently operating in the Teignmouth, Dawlish and Newton Abbot area . Unfortunatly this has an effect on the genuinely homeless.

Walked down Sandy Lane this afternoon and saw a group of youngsters in the car park cheering on a lad in a white car driving around the car park showing off. You can keep young chilldren at home but what can you do about teenagers?

The community information hub is open longer this week. On Wednesday 23 October, we’ll be open from 1pm - 4pm, and again for our evening session between 5pm and 7pm. 🏗️ Please come along if you have any questions about our work to build the new Dawlish sea wall.

Tomorrow, 18 September, the community information hub near Colonnade underpass will be open from 11am-2pm to help keep residents, visitors and members of the general public informed about works at Dawlish. Do drop in if you have a question.

Tiverton resident Joan Weeks celebrated her centenary on August 18. She was born in Wisteria Cottage, The High Street Dawlish, in 1919.
