Happy Days Are Here Again! - Tuesday 16th November at 2pm.
This show brings you the songs heard at those parties, songs that won the war, good old fashioned singalongs and beautiful ballads. The show includes a tribute to Vera Lynn, the forces sweetheart, with songs including When the Lights Go on Again, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, I’ll Be Seeing you and of course The White Cliffs of Dover. We can ‘Meet The Gang’ as we take you back to the ENSA concert party days, with songs from Arthur Askey, Gracie Fields and Flanagan and Allen to name a few.
There is a good old fashioned knees up where you can singalong to Roll Out the Barrel, Side by Side, Let’s All Go Down the Strand, Knees Up Mother Brown and Lambeth Walk. We will pay a respectful tribute to our Fallen Heroes, and there is a flag-waving Last Night of the Proms Finale, including Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and There’ll Always Be An England.
The show is performed by Award Winning vocalists with incredible voices and amazing harmonies. With the sound of laughter and a magical touch, this feel-good show will lift your spirits and leave you with a smile on your face.
