Update: Dawlish Christmas Markets and Festive Fun
With reluctance, due to the high winds forecast it has been decided to cancel the Christmas Market and Festive Fun on Saturday 27th November. Due to the wind speeds of over 25mph and gusts of wind estimated at between 40 to 50mph it would not be safe to erect gazebos and stalls down the Strand. It is also not conditions that the inflatables and other activities will be able to operate in. activities
The SUNDAY market on the 28th November 11am to 4pm is still planned to go ahead as weather conditions are forecast to improve overnight Saturday. On Sunday we have over 50 stalls, swing boats, inflatables, stilt walkers, lots of music and fun! Father Christmas will also make an appearance on the bandstand at about 11.15am. More details to follow!
