Suggest hanging a 'catenary of track' between the stench pipes? - Not to scale of course! Honestly it's a serious suggestion, not least because said 'rope bridge' is in most people's eyes (nationally for sure) the defining image of the storms. Makes use of the pipes that are so disliked as well Alternatively do some other artform (e.g. mural on wall, stained glass back drop etc) that ...

Was linking to the boy attack thread.  i.e. 2xholiday parks. i.e. the natural instinct is to steer away from anything negative to do with security howsoever the detail, particularly if paying customers.

The other issue that will need consideration is what preparation of the existing grey may be necessary (may be nothing more than de-greasing needed) and selecting not just marine grade paint but something that is both a topcoat and compatible with existing.  Painting swans on ditto, which may mean a DIY job may not be too simple.  I'll have a word with PPG and see if they can advise on options ...

Yes, never a bad thing to learn about these things to be safer. It happens anywhere (e.g. Madeline McCann) I guess it just seems more poignant when then victims are on holiday, maybe having naturally dropped their guard.

Another not great advert for tourists thinking about staying at a holiday park.

'Holly Green' is one colour of choice used on the new 'Borders' line.

In the new era of 'Anschluss and Sudetenland' parallels, Europe vitally needs to be seen to pull together and be united for the common good, right now.  End of.

Don't think a DAL would particularly help Dawlish or tourists.  Although those on that side of town may then be nearer to a station, I wouldn't bank on getting one in the near future at least.  No I think Dawlish is very fortunate to have its station exactly where it is and to stay served from both directions! Best solution is to make a really good job of a breakwater/groynes etc to push the ...
