Car park literally full with groups of people chatting and eating and drinking from mobile cafe. In 15 years the only time its ever this busy is usually New Years eve. Amazing how people react to a pandemic.

Being an old fart who has had the sad misfortune to be born in the U.K and had to endure decades of bull from politicians. I have slowly, over the years, evolved an inbuilt bull s££t translator. Which has been working over time with politicians saying how the government will cope and the NHS. Batten down the hatches... World War V is here and the incompetent are in charge. God save us all.

Nice gesture, but to be stuck in a crowd of people shouting and cheering at this moment in time doesn't seem the best option for your health. Not to mention traveling to and from and using public toilets and food outlets, in my opinion.

Am I on an alternate Earth where the reverse on logic and common sense prevails and only evil and greed are rewarded? The NHS has been eroded for decades whilst the management continues to grow like the fungus on moldy meat. Its about time this countries numerous festering swamps were drained and the country was run for the people not the establishment.

You don't need a centre you need coppers walking the streets and gaining local knowledge and the confidence of the local people. The centre will just be a money pit that does very little other than house a group of over paid individuals sitting in sterile environments. Pics on daily mail last night showed the evacuated in face masks and one person in each transit coach, 6 in all, going to their assigned quarantine zone. Several of the coach drivers had NO protection at all!

I don't believe it was trust. In my opinion she only got another term on the gravy train because she was the lesser of two candidates. The only time you see her is when there is a national media event. I struggled to get job seekers allowance on three ocassions over a 30 year employment history when I was made redundant each time. Come the apocalypse there won't be handouts from those that work...oh I forgot labour did not win the 2019 GE..ha ha

They will say anything to get into power for the next 5 years. The only thing that you can bank on is their pay will go UP every year and taxes will continue to increase. Other than that same old, same old. Call me cynical, but I have witnessed this many times in my 60 years of living in this beggars paradise we call the UK.

How naive can these people be. What do they think there homes were built. How do they think residents who have lived here for decades feel about their over priced and poorly built homes going up on green field sites then?
