Maybe so but the rest of the highway robbers have still to add their cut e.g Teignbridge council, Devon county council etc, got to keep the local MP in 3 jobs, how he can afford to do that and represent the ward at parliment is beyond me , must be easy as an MP regarding free time,. Police oversighr boss Alison Hernadaz  currently paying  3 chief constable wages at the same time and also asking for more money to put officers on the beat. How many years has she spouted the same guff......and nothing changes.

The small increase has been made to ensure the ‘continued delivery of services and new projects’. What a joke, what services! I presume Dawlish council will be putting themselves forward a nice pay rise and another big injection of money into their pension pot in my opinion.

How about a MODEST increase in services to go with the modest increase in payment, cheeky so and so's. How about a few redundancies from the council as most of the services are non existent or gone all together!
