Wrigley has had plenty of time to do it, but has he?

But I did see him in the group when the BBC cameras were down there the other week.

Yes, but that was a photo opportunituy for publiciy that no MP would turn down. Thats the last you will see of him in dawlish. Used to see him in the paper looking into potholes for publicity to show the locals he waa doing somethimg but unfortunately thats all he did just looked into them for the camera shot.

In todays gazette quotes from wriggley " the sones and rocks washed down may be contaminated,.????? With what you may ask and " we have to protect the fish stocks" in the same article it mentions the low stock of trout, why do you think the cause of this could be???  This guy has no intention of doing anything for dawlish and his cronies the same saying how can we smarten up the brook . Talk about polishing the turd......

I remember when a local farmer used to clear the brook with a digger and  tractor and trailer, the gravel was then tipped on the beach and the tide took care of it. I also remember that every part of the brook was full of fish some where at least three or four pounds and as a very keen fly fisherman i would watch them for ages very interesting trout behaviour.

I spoke to a chap a few years ago and he said as a kid, many decades ago, they use to wear chest high waders and go into clear the Brook. Well that would certainly be deep compared to the average of a few inches below water now.

You can actually walk across the brook in places literally to the other side and not get your feet wet.

In todays political world everything will cost more and more for less and less. Whilst those in charge make more and more at the expense of those they are supposed to be public/civil servants of, in my opinion.

would just like to mention in my experience i did hit a pot hole about a year ago

and sent a letter with details to the devon cc. But was told that the lady who was dealing

with the case after 2-3months, my claim was not valid. Even with the receipt

So to exact my response to this jobsworth was not report pot holes.
