The only local election being held this May which the citizens of Dawlish will be able to vote in is that for the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall Police. Speaking of bridges whats the latest in the petiton to replace the bridge in the manor?? If teignbridge can spend alledgely £89k doing up the manor then they can surely afford a new wooden bridge or is a caae of just letting that issue drop? Remember this folks when voting in mays local election

THREE members of the Dawlish Coasters took part in the Total Coastal events last Saturday. Two of the group took on the half marathon race, which was held over a stunning route starting at Preston Green and following the South West Coast Path all the way along to the finish line in Shaldon.

Three businesses in Teignbridge have been shortlisted for the Devon and Plymouth Chamber Awards, which celebrate Devon’s leading entrepreneurs and businesses. Neil Salter, founder of Coast Cams, based in Dawlish, is shortlisted for the Game Changer Award, which recognises an individual who has turned an idea into a successful, sustainable business.

ORGANISATIONS providing support to some of the most hard-up communities in Teignbridge have received a boost. Groups including Dawlish Scouts and Shaldon Water Carnival, which all rent council property, can now apply for subsidies.
