This will be kicked into the long grass and hopefully forgotten about by the lib dems. No forthcoming update from the petition raided by a lib dem to put before the lub dem controlled council. Expect excuses such as out for consideration, still to be costed, no money thanks to the goverment, still reviewing, general election prioriies etc etc ...add your own apt excuses.

Reportedly around £70k to £80k to decorate the outside of the Manor House, but no funds to replace the footbridge!

Went down to have a look, if it had not been for the big tent on The Lawn I would have thought it was just a normal day! Well done in putting so much effort into the celebrations Yeh.

THE 80th anniversary of D-Day is being remembered by events across Teignbridge today. In Dawlish, Union flags are flying outside premises through the town centre while a marquee on the Lawn is the centre of activities.

A GIANT 18m whale will be washing up in Dawlish this weekend. The whale is expected to be the big attraction at this year’s Turn The Tide festival. Billed as a show-stopping centrepiece for the three day event highlighting coastal and inland waterways and threats from pollution and climate change, the whale will be centre stage on the Lawn.
