LOCAL walking footballers Deb Neale and Kirsten Pybus are living proof that life goes on after a cancer diagnosis. They are proud to say that being part of Dawlish Women’s Walking Football Club has helped during their treatment and recovery.

A new sculpture inspired by the work of students at Orchard Manor School has been erected in Dawlish this week. ‘The Coastguard’ is one of four sculptures being installed along the South Devon coast between Exmouth and Paignton as part of a project called ‘Uncertain Tides’.
BEACHES in Teignbridge are among several in Devon to be hit with a warning for sewage pollution as the county is battered by heavy rain. Dawlish Town, Teignmouth Holcombe and Shaldon beaches have been flagged by Surfer’s Against Sewage.

As it has not been torrential raining recently how can there be sewage alerts? Always told it was excess rainfall that was the problem. Blue flag county, what a joke. Time for any bonuses for SWW was stopped.
