Why don't you ask the Chamber of Trade?

Local Produce Market

And take a look at the latest edition of Devon Talk. It's got a 8 page special supplement dedicated to local produce and services. On page 2 it lists the Farmers' Markets in the county. There's quite a few. Must be a successful way of selling local produce else there wouldn't be so many of 'em. Can't wait for Dawlish to have its market. Like it says in the mag "Buying your fresh produce locally ...

Don't forget DIG FOR VICTORY! Let's get some WWII spirit going. As for supermarkets - like Private Jones says in Dad's Army - stick it up 'em.

I can't believe I'm suggesting this wot with my views on supermarkets 'n all but....... why don't you try contacting them? Both Sainsburys and Tesco have declared their hands for building a store in Dawlish and rumour has it that ASDA and Waitrose may be sniffing around 'n all. Get something out of them for the local community? 'Good' publicity for them?
