Exeter Road

How much rain was there here today? When I left this morning it was dry. Been to Bristol and back - no rain. But it is wet here and my garden looks as though it has had a good watering.

Just come back from the town. It is positively heaving with people and all high areas (Lea Mount, Sandy Lane Playing Fields, hill by The Smugglers) also full of people. Here's hoping all those awaiting the results get the grades they need to do whatever it is they are (A Level results allowing) planning to do.

Carnival politics

My daughter and her friends were at the Brunnie last night. Daughter says The Brunnie was positively heaving with people and that pram race contestants were calling in there.
