Don't know if I am doing something wrong, but it appears to be stuck at 07:18:45.

And no, it's not cos the clock is on GMT, as I have tried a number of times.

@stephen15, the advert is placed by livestream who host the webcam.

@Carer, i don't think it is 100% reliable, so perhaps try a bit later.

I've just found this webcam and I love it to see one of the places which I love. This webcam is now my favorite.

Dawlish and the seawall; with the lovely and kind people, the black swans and the trains.

Many times we have visit this nice place on our holidays from Holland.

Greetings to Colin Marsden who lives there and wrote the book about the seawall and for sending me the issues about the Class 47/57 two years ago.

06 sept.      The horizon is now horizontal. That's better for the water.

@Nelson

That was the Royal Duchy pulled by the locomotive Tangmere.

It was the Torbay Express that was cancelled.

Torbay Express.

Looks like the Royal Duchy has finished.

Sometimes the times of them passing through Dawlish can be found in the window at the Tourist Information Centre.

What can't be seen from that webcam though are the ships that are presently anchored in Lyme Bay and are easily visible from Dawlish.

As I type this I am looking out over the sea and can see five of them quite easily.

Probably taken anchorage here due to the strong winds futher out in the channel.

@ooyykas. The sound microphone is in a case to stop the sea spray getting to it. Their explanation not mine.

Just come back from the town. It is positively heaving with people and all high areas (Lea Mount, Sandy Lane Playing Fields, hill by The Smugglers) also full of people.

Will be watching from the front and back windows of my house.

Perfect weather for an air display. Must go now - Red Arrows have probably just taken off from Exeter Airport and due to arrive here shortly.
