I remember my gran saying "charity begins at HOME"! Its a shame our government doesn't feel the same. We seem hell bent on letting anyone and everyone into this country with open arms. And lets face it they get everything!!! they are a drain on our country. Austrailia has the best idea as the don't let them in FULLSTOP!!!! Perhaps we should all invade a european country and start again, i'm sure ...

Yes there may be toilets at both ends of the lawn, but they shut at a certain time so u are unable to use them. However, i know this is not an excuse.

The price rises are not just in Dawlish it's nationwide anywhere you go its over £1.00. I remember when it was around 88p a litre and everyone moaned and transport companies took action. Road tax has gone up so has insurance. Unfortunately the government are trying to force us off the roads by putting prices up. Yet again the British people have been shafted up the backside by the government ...

Well in the old days the kids had lots of open space to play in and enjoyed the outdoor life and unfortunatly spelling was not the top of their agenda. I think perhaps Colin may have spent much of his youth out and about playing in the fresh air. Unfortunatly his literacy skills are more important to some people than the local community and where it is heading for the youth of Dawlish.Lets just ...

sadly i wish it was! the model cafe recieved a letter informing them that the road will be closed for a month in april! i'm unsure as to why none of the other shops have recieved a letter?

I went; there wasn't much on display but what there was looked OK. The main point being that Dawlish needs a supermarket and this solution avoids getting bogged down in the whole Sandy Lane mess. Also it's just far enough out of town that the local shops wont be damaged. The rest of us can stop driving to Newton Abbot or wherever and can claim green credentials. I think it's on a green-field ...
