Has anyone else heard the rumour going around at the moment about queens street closing for a month in april?

yes it's been proposed, and its for essential repairs to a collapsed sewer. There's never a good time to close the road and unfortunately it needs doing. If it's left the road could start collapsing and end up being done as an emergency in the middle of the summer !!!

sadly i wish it was! the model cafe recieved a letter informing them that the road will be closed for a month in april! i'm unsure as to why none of the other shops have recieved a letter?

Have to go on a diet for a month. If Sainsburys was open I could go on a healthy living plan for April and save some wedge
