The worst offender of all the companies for broken monitors installed in swimming waters is South West Water, which had 31 broken monitors. Beaches at Bude in Cornwall as well as Dawlish in Devon and Lyme Regis in Dorset all have sewage monitors installed which have been faulty in both 2021 and 2022. Read more... ...

DAWLISH will be marking Ukrainian Independence Day in support of refugees who have made the town their home since the invasion by Russia. Everyone is welcome to join the event which will take place on Thursday August 24 at the Piazza and the bottom of the Lawn. Mayor of Dawlish Rosie Dawson will lead the event and raise the Ukrainian flag at 1pm.
