Ed Davey has established a new national “Reform Watch’ scrutiny board, bringing together local Liberal Democrat leaders in areas where Reform has taken control to take a coordinated approach to opposition and holding them to account. Leader of the Liberal Democrats Ed Davey said: "A lot of people are rightly very worried about the threat Reform poses to our communities and the public services we ...

@burnside I think you'll find she has 4 jobs actually.
I doubt Martin owns a surfboard. The thought of Martin being able to surf is hilarious! At his age! He's hardly got a surfer's physique and I'm sure he's taking advantage of the heavily subsidized bars and eateries in Westminster. Nevertheless the Liberal Democrats are on the 'crest of a wave' that looks to continue for the foreseeable future. #Winning Here
@Dawlish Against Censorship Guilty as charged - I have not tried to hide from the the fact that I am an arrogant, classist, snob - an elitist bitch. Also I'd have thought anyone reading this would welcome openness and transparency when it comes to politics. I'm loyal to the Liberal Democrat party as long as it suits me. And the party is far greater than the likes of Rosie and Martin who are but ...
Happy St George's Day to everyone in England, Albania, Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Greece, Georgia, Portugal, Lebanon, Castile and Leon, Catalonia, Alcoi, Aragon, Genoa and Rio De Janeiro. St George was a Cappodocian Greek and is now the patron saint and symbol of so many countries around the world.
@1263 Is that what you think? That the current mental health crisis is all due to the policies of the third largest party in the UK, whose policies at best occasionally influence the party in power? The vote really is wasted on you. Which policies on 'wokeism', give examples. What do mean by 'gender transformation' again which policies, give examples? Or are you just regurgitating what Nigel tells ...
@Dawlish Against Censorship I have confidently and I admit arrogantly predicted Rosie will win the County Council election and although I cannot necessarily argue against some of the points raised in the video and your post it matters not. Rosie is on course to win.
I for one would have much preferred Rachel Hardy instead of Rosie as candidate for the County Council elections. It's hard to argue that she isn't an embarrassment for the party with her secular bigotry, much like that simpering idiot Gary Taylor with his 'hands on' approach to debate in Council chambers. But the party is adept at weathering such storms. The fact that this video (and no doubt the ...
@burnside His team have submitted 589 Official Written Parliamentary Questions, had 5 Early Day Motions proposed and he has signed 135 Early Day Motions, Don't you think that's good value for the £93,904 p.a etc? I imagine he'll have trouble recalling all the 589 questions asked and it must be hard to manage such high output. Its quite a feat! He also works hard for us all on the County, District ...
@1263 Of course the news about Stagecoach is a timely selling point. You do know the political bias of the Dawlish Gazette and the newspaper group behind it? And yes it's hard to argue that an 8 year wait fills anyone with confidence I admit. You make a good point this time.
@burnside. Honestly, where's the scrutiny of the Liberal Democrats? Rosie in particular is a potential gift to the Reform campaign, yet you're all too uninformed about local politics to even realize. Hence why I can be so brazen and confident on this site about us winning. Scrutiny?! That's laughable.
