The Chair is Rosie Dawson Liberal Democrat who  hopes to become the Town's next County Councillor - she is the worst Chair of the District Council we've ever known and acts like a Dictator censoring those who took the trouble to travel to the Council meeting, quite possibly taking time out of work in order to speak on issues that matter to them.

Rosie Dawson shut them down because their views on women's rights did not align with Dawson's views on trans rights.

The issue here is not about trans rights versus women's rights, the recent Court verdict ruled on this matter last week and no doubt trans people will now mount their own challenge about their rights to feel safe in toilets and changing rooms. the only solution looks like unisex individual cubicles facing public spaces. But that is not what this post is concerned with.

The real issues is the sub standard conduct of Dawson as chair and her censorship of free speech. She is far from liberal and definitely not a democrat.

Dawson seeks to get elected to the County Council on May 1st. Maybe she will win the election as some people on here confidently and arrogantly predict, nevertheless her true colours should be known. Just watch the video.

Please share this video as widely as possible. Prevent this woman from representing us in any more Councils. Tell as many people as possible!

@Dawlish Against Censorship I have confidently and I admit arrogantly predicted Rosie will win the County Council election and although I cannot necessarily argue against some of the points raised in the video and your post it matters not. Rosie is on course to win.
