Oh come now @burnside. When was the last time Dawlish had a female County Councillor? I think the Town would benefit from a 'woman's touch'.
No martin, were not really interested in your newsletter, but thanks for letting someone else post it here as you cant be bothered to do it yourself. Were more interested in trying to stop the slow decline of dawlish.Alternative administrations have been in power in DCC with the main topic being blaming each other rather than for the common good of dawlish. If you can honesty say the other parties have improved dawlish then vote for the same old tired parties but dont expect any changes. Also get out and vote as the lib dems rely on apathy, also a spoiled paper is a waste of a vote.
Remember the defination of stupidity is to vote for the same party and expect the outcome to be different.!!!
P.s apologies for some of the pictures above that dont include me, your local MP as i want to back ......eh !!! whats her name again, you know her in my pictures.
Comedy gold from alipop, who wants YOU to vote libdem as it keeps developments away from her house /land and properties. So if your not a house owner please do not vote for the lib dems.
Cant think why libdems never picked this up as a local policy as i am sure its a priority in dawlish voters minds.
Bravo @1263 However all political parties rely on apathy, it just happens to benefit the Liberal Democrats in Dawlish and the rest of Teignbridge.
And with less than a week until election day what are you going to do about it? Other than moan and vent your anger on this odd little site?
Despite the so called 'rise of Reform' in last year's general election the turn-out was down on 2019.
Turn-out in local elections is around 30% less than general elections and I seriously doubt that thousands of non voters will go to the polls for Phil Filditch from Kenton next Thursday.
No the Conservatives' vote will be split between Filditch and the Tory candidate, the current Mayor of Newton Abbot.
It's a foregone conclusion.
All political parties rely on apathy. policies are pretty meaningless, including those relating to Reform which don't even pretend to be relevant to the election being contested, which make the pretence even more laughable.
@1263 Again, what are you going to do about it? Other than whine on this site every day.
All political parties rely on apathy?? obvious you dont know much about politics, hey lets not have any policies and the winner is the with the least % apathetic. You really must get out more. What am i going to do about it ? what is that a threat , ? laughable when you want to complain to the town council, equality, rosie..et al.
Can you actually name the policies on the local reform leaflet .?
I doubt Martin owns a surfboard. The thought of Martin being able to surf is hilarious! At his age! He's hardly got a surfer's physique and I'm sure he's taking advantage of the heavily subsidized bars and eateries in Westminster.
Nevertheless the Liberal Democrats are on the 'crest of a wave' that looks to continue for the foreseeable future.
