You have to assume there are just as many loony Muslims as loony Christians. I was equally fed up when all the Muslims got up in arms about the Mohammed caricatures in the newspapers a few months ago. That was, until all the looney christians got up in arms about the Madonna concerts and Madonna on a 'disco' cross. At that point I began to realise that they are all nuts.

Sorry about that - think fingers.. Anyway, I dont think registration is necessary or helpful. Moderation is what you need. Someone needs to keep it clean and relevant (on-topc) Maybe even a team of two or three people.

My apologies for the levity. The comments by SZ4 were extremely witty however, sorry I couldn't reach that level. For what its worth I think you are entirely right. Daw Vale should not be closed. My sister used to visit OAPs there and I joined her once or twice, although I gave up when one of the old dears took a fancy to me.

In Vienna, they are testing the dog poo for DNA, which they compare to a database. If you let your pooch be registered in the database, you are exempted from pooch tax.

I would agree. I spent much more than five minutes on it. I lived in Dawlish and Teignmouth for the first 20 years of my life. For the first 13 of those, I lived above the Fountain Cafe. It's tremendous to be able to show colleagues in The Hague, where I now live, where I was brought up. It's a shame about this forum though - It needs some strong moderation
