I see the two developers wanting to build in the Secmaton Rise and Gatehouse area have submitted plans again. There is a bit about the Secmaton Rise plans in this week's Gazette on the front page. You can also read more by going onto the planning pages of TDC's website and typing in reference: 08/02514/MAJ The Gatehouse developer has just submitted a planning application - 08/03014/MAJ. The new proposal is for both floors to be above ground with the vocational training ...

Can I suggest that the following may throw some light on the matter: the original plans for a Youth/Community Centre were given the go ahead in Feb. 2006. As I understand it that planning approval is valid ...

I thought I'd heard that the Town Council would be recommending to Teignbridge District council that it is not allowed because Dawlish Warren is a designated holiday area and therefore needs holiday accommodation not residential accommodation. But who knows. I'm beginning to believe that anything can happen in this town.

How do you know that planning permission will be granted for Lee's Bar to be turned into residential units?

Thank you Bardwell.
