The Terrace cafe , always very friendly.

Visiting your lovely town again next week. Will keep my eye out for you Bob.Will no doubt take a stroll along the front. Not sure if anyone can answer this but here goes. What happened to the lovely couple that owned Red Rock Cafe.Always very friendly and the food was good.Seems to have gone down hill a bit with the latest owners. I always remember the woman waving at the Train drivers.I guess ...

I have to admit Bob, i did get some funny lookswhen i greeted everyone with "Morning Bob". As for the person, with the T-shirt, sorry that wasnt me. I was the one with pointy ears , long snout and gingery/orange in colour. In reply to the person mentioning the sea-weed.Whilst having a mug of tea at the Pirates Chest a council workman mentioned that storms at sea usually caused it.As i'm from a ...

Was down in your beautiful town last week. Walked from the Warren to Dawlish a number of times. Greeted each person with "morning Bob" as i walked the sea-wall, but got no reaction. Shame about the state of Dawlish beach(seaweed after the storm)but it looked alot better after it had been scraped up by the workmen. Notice the beach next to the Pirates Chest has won an award.

Viaduct, you stated(post 12th may) that "anyone in Dawlish that spent £50 on clothes is an idiot" yet you accuse me of talking Gibberish" Yet you claim that you have never run the people, kids or shops of this town down. You've just called half the people in Dawlish idiots , and more to the point , you've called yourself an idiot. If you claim you have never spent £50 on clothes in your life then ...

One minute its a moan about the poor shops, cafe's, localkids or low class tourists. Then when people try to improve the Town and pull it up market slightly ....you still moan. It seems that you would be happier if these people spent their money in Exeter, Plymouth or Torquay instead of Dawlish. Afterall Dawlish ...

Noticed on my visit this week , that the "Rats of the Sky" seem to be increasing in numbers under the railway platform. their crap is everywhere and the stench is growing by the day. Has the council ever thought about doing something about it?

Been in once, and thought it was a different option to the usual cafe's. Ok so its more up market, has less chavs in but as i'm not a big coffee lover it wasnt somewhere i'd rush back too. Even so good luck to them for bringing somthing different. I'll stick with the Terrace cafe, good honest food at a decent price and a stong pot of tea. Friendly owners as well. When i want a sanie and a beer , ...
