Let's think. We, the allies , invaded Europe because of a mad dictator who wanted to rule the world . NOTHING to do with the European Union which now seems to have crossed that bridge and despite little skirmishes  mainly due to Football, (more to come from June 10th) everyone seems to get on well. Where do a lot of English go on holiday? France, Spain, Germany (which I love) ...

UK Contribution to EU I keep reading in this extraordinary long forum about how much we (the UK) pay the EU every Day/Week/Month/Year. Has anybody mentioned exactly how much we get back ? I wait for your abuse and false manipulated figures.

@ MV Well said. Also, being an outsider, I won't object to putting money into the new carnival collection boxes.

@Paul "Todays Warning - If we leave the EU, we will have an instant recession" What would you have said IF it was the Out brigade saying that? Would you have believed it then? BS works for both sides.

(John Nash Drive, Summerhayes, Richards Close, Williams Close, Morningside etc) As ...

Any Ideas?

Could it be an Ordnance Survey marker? Just a thought.

Back in the 70's when we had the referendum, I voted NOT to join and am surprised that 69% voted TO join which amazes me as ever since then, I have still yet to meet someone who voted to join. My view is that now we are in, I believe that it is better that we stay in. We done the dirty on NZ and Aus by joining so I dont think that they will greet us back with open arms when buying their ...

Flag Pole

It's nice to see the flag pole opposite the TIC back in use. Shame they couldn't have given it a coat of paint first.
