I said about six months ago ..this forum does Dawlish no favours, maybe it shows the town as it is, but as some people cannot show respect these days, it would be a far better website with no forum and leave people to 'bicker' on facebook. I say make Dawlish.com just for events and information for all.??
Some would be happy to have half that!
Roberta... you've still not explained why Dawlish should be the ONLY town without a proper Supermarket. That is being negative is it not.
'People in Dawlish' are good at organising pram and duck races. Don't see a call anyway for a Town Manager ..whoever takes it on people wont approve.
...also ..why shouldnt Dawlish have a Sainsburys, a 'proper' supermarket?. (see above) People moaned enough in 1990's about Gateway/Soemrfield then the Coop. Anyone coming to Dawlish on holiday or any town come to that expects to see a decent store of some sort.. or they simply move on to a town where there is one.
....further proof people hate people that have a business in Dawlish. . What a stange place it is for sure, no wonder bsuiness move out and look elsewhere.

Wont be long now before Labour are back in and everyone can have just what they want. Guess people dont mind paying more Council Tax .. remember in the last weeks of Labour... they said 'we have no more money' lol..
So agree BB. Been saying that since Barclays left ..all towns are the same as the internet has arrived. I see no point at all in opening a shop..if you do and do well people dont like you foir it. As for the teenagers/families..seems to me they are happy to live on theri mobile phones 24/7 even on holiday and on the beach I see.
