Are the Lib Dem’s completely bonkers? Yes! Why would they block an air show in this area when history proves the massive impact on tourism and trade it has! And as for the climate impact, look at China, India and the USA for climate impact, what we do will always be a tiny, tiny, tiny, drop in the massive ocean! We really are in for a very rough four years under the Lib Dem’s!
Vote for your independent Dawlish Councillors tomorrow.
Vote for your local independent councillors, they are not told what to say and how to vote by their political party, they generally want to do the best for Dawlish and the people of Dawlish. Let’s take the politics out of local council decision making.
And believe me majorp, it’s no different at local level!!
We have a great bunch of independents standing this year so let’s hope some of those non-attenders are ousted.
Allison’s job is funded entirely by the council. She is the projects officer, she worked closely with Tracy but her job is independent from the town centre managers role. Alison sits on the Events Committee, which is chaired by a councillor.
The only reason the EU are agreeing to delay Brexit is because they are terrified of us leaving! I have friends who live in Holland and Germany and both tell just how terrified everyone is for the future of the EU without us! They need and want our money and will do anything to keep it!
Thanks Lynne, that gives a good steer for the folk on here about who to vote for if they want a playpark or don’t want a park. Could you do a letter to the gazette with the same information?
Just about sums up majorp! Do you actually live here and take part in all the wonderful events that take place in Dawlish because if you do you really would know Alison and what she does!
Alison will be a sad loss for the town, she has done a brilliant job over the last few years!
