I would have thought there was plenty of evidence to simply close it down. Who would have thought a Dawlish pub would ever need 'bouncers'.
Dawlish is a very pretty town with the sea and lawn area. Very quiet and dull in the winter. As you say you have spotted the negatvity of people, I put up with it for 7 years, think that is the actual average move time anyway. It helps if you were born there... I was not lol.
I have never had a car and only live where services are good. Was looking at Service 2 bus timetable ..wonder how many know the last bus from Newton is at Midnight arrives in Dawlish 0035 everyday!

Council should have made it a pleasant shopping road with no cars, lets not go there anymore. . At least Sainsburys has had no effect on the volumn of visitors then..I never thought it would. I dont think Dawlish 'ticks the boxes' for Mary Portas scheme, she would find herself forever swimming against the tide don't you think.
