After a series of incidents, including two people injured in glassing attacks police have applied for a review of a Dawlish pub's licence.
There have been reports of fights involving up to 15 people.
People have also been reported drinking from glasses on the pavement outside and allegations of alcohol being served after 2am.
Licensing Officers and the bosses of the Lansdowne in Park Road have been meeting to address some of the issues to include using plastic glasses by the end of the week, smokers congregating outside the front of the pub, dealing with drunken behaviour and managing people banned from the premises.

I would have thought there was plenty of evidence to simply close it down.
Who would have thought a Dawlish pub would ever need 'bouncers'.
I went to the Lanny yesterday and had a lovely time with very pleasant punters and friendly bar staff.
I highly recommend you all go and enjoy the great entertainment on offer.
Totally unfriendly pub as far as I am concerened. Unless you are a regular, you struggle to get served even when it's quiet.
Bar staff too busy chatting to their buddies most of the time.
well we went in a few weeks ago for the first time everyone was ok, got served ok, yes there was a couple of people you wouldn't want to disagree with, but we find that if we treat other people with respect and don't pre judge people we don't get any hassle.
