You must have beaten me to it! I was looking for garden stuff but didn't find anything. Didn't buy anything at all as it happens - as you say, lots of clothes and children's toys. Which is great if that is what you are looking for (and I am sure many were). Like you B'nut - I must be getting old....... P'raps I'll have better luck on Thursday afternoon at the Warren.
Hi Scott, Will you be selling locally produced cheeses? (Take a look at the 'A Decent Cheese' thread.
Popped down to Duck Aller Farm today to buy some of their really tasty pork burgers and pork sausages (they do different flavours of pork sausage) and in passing I was told they had won first prize at this year's Devon County Show. I had no idea that they had done that and in case you didn't know either here's some info. http://www.duckallerfarm.co.uk/
That posting about the toilets at Sandy Lane car park prompted me to post this. According to the Gazette the pool will be closed from Monday July 22nd to Friday August 30th. In need of urgent repairs apparently.

@Carer As I thought I had implied in my posting - my comment about the Starcross RBL was an 'as we're on the subject of correct spelling, incorrect use of the apostrophe etc here is another example' type of comment. Off topic in terms of the Carnival I agree, but certainly on topic in terms of Duckileaks' comments about bad grammar etc. Might I make a suggestion? Should anyone want to ...
Totally agree about the need for the correct use of English. It drives me nuts when I see incorrect spelling, incorrect use of the apostrophe etc. I know that we aren't all good at such things and sometimes I type one spelling but the computer thinks it knows better and I have to overide its 'correction'. So, as far as I am concerned postings on here using incorrect spellings and other ...
Don't know who owns it now but looking at the document that I've given the link for (see above) it looks as though whoever owned it in 2006 wanted to demolish it but were prevented from doing so by TDC. The owners then Appealed the TDC decision but lost the Appeal. (at least that's how the document reads to me).
