I lived in Third Avenue which is next to Churchill from 1977 to 2002 and never felt it was a bad place to live. Play park for the kids, close to the school, convenience store around the corner.....yeah it was ok.

Someone starts a thread and pretty soon Roy and his friends/enemies or whoever soon start trading personal insults. I dont think I'll bother coming back. Enjoy your time on here Roy!!
All this forum seems to consist of is a few people who constantly accuse the other of being unable to debate anything and are only able to throw insults at each other and very little debate ever seems to take place! Ok, this may be the only thing they have going for them in they're sad lives but why not leave this forum to the more mature people who really would like to debate things and go to ...

I thought it was a watchtower that "Roy" can sit in to count the number of kids that are playing in the snow when they should be at school damn them!!!
Well it was an answer "Roy" just not one that agreed with you! I dont know the headmaster personally ( like you do, or I'm assuming you do otherwise how else would you know it was a whim) so cant tell for sure if it was just a whim that made him close the school or concern for kids safety. And, you know, if a few mum's or dad's have to take a day off every 18 years or so to look after their kids ...
Dont know about you Roy but when i was 5 or 6 my parents used to take care of me!!
