@Dawlish Man . i believe that it was due to staffing problems and something to do with the chap who was the manager (not mr baker)leaving. that is what i have heard, so it may not be gospel.
If it hasn't already opened, I believe it will be opening soon. Nothing to do with the roadworks for the reason why it closed.

@mark . did you read the original post??? its a jam session for christs sake, not a full blown gig. ok, make it on a sunday lunchtime or on a bh monday afternoon then. its nice to hear live music no matter what year/genre it comes from. there are other people in this town that appreciate music apart from those under the age of 25. dave. have you asked up at the swan? its worth a try.
Why worry about Wilkinsons being the cause of some shop closures when Tesco/Sainsburys will be the cause of ALL the shops closing.
They are trying to fill the void that was left when Woolies shut down. People dont realise what a great service Woolies provided to this town.
