They probably had one of their many Christmas jollies last night so all will have hangovers today. Just proves a point of how useless they are and how we can manage without them. Think about cost savings here.
@Paul . your so right about sww not being able to cut you off for not paying, however we have a legal system that favours big companies like them and what they do is take you to court and obtain a charging order against your property. you also get a ccj against your name, so either way they win every time. all utility companies should be government controlled with no shareholders and non-profit ...
Looks like one of the utility or civil engineering companies are using the old re-cycling centre as a storage yard for materials and lorries. Could be Bailey's. As for the cycle path, didnt the Police authority ask the the council not to proceed with creating a direct escape route for criminal activity on the Warren.
Anyone know whats happening with the major utility works and regeneration of the Strand. Thought all was due to start end Sept early Oct.
To get the post back on track a quick shuffle around Teignmouth last afternoon found one large purple van and three other trade signwritten vans one outside Riviera bar and the others in northumberland place carpark which is pay & display. All have a little green square pass with Teignbridge logo on it. Think it could be something to do with charity or disability
Ok both of you Brazilnut will be taking over from the outgoing chairmans job on the carnival committee knowing what the people of Dawlish want and being an expert in organising such events. Nelson will be organising free events on the lawn to keep locals and holiday makers entertained and will also be advising on the best use of the legal system as I seem to have something to fear from the law. ...
Sure did, excellent example of a public piss up, some good local bands and some not so good. Pathetic attempt at a stage and a terrible sound system. Anti-social behaviour by the odd few later on did lead to complaints but as normal probably not in writing. I do get it, and what people especially in Dawlish want is something for nothing, had there been a £5 charge say to be on the lawn for the day ...
@Nelson & brazilnut Here are a couple of facts you both need to be aware of regarding your posts on this forum topic. These are FACTS. a) Nobody complained to the council through the official channel i.e. in writting, therfore the council acted illegally in deceiving the People of Dawlish. b) References made under the tittle of Chav relating to the soliciting of under age girls is ...
Thats a good idea "Nelson" wouldnt have to put up with the noise and all the people on the lawn. Plus it would be another kick in the teeth for our useless council and the Dawlish Gutsache. Here's another good idea line up the carnival parade at Sandy Lane, proceed along Exeter Road turn right into Warren Road past Mount pleasant and end in the Front carpark on the Warren. Transfere all other ...
The swinging of cats comes to mind, tiny little wooden boxes at highly inflated prices. Still far better than the affordable option and the import of Exeter and Newton Abbots drop outs
