Where are the Councillors?
Just been talking to the Duck Warden, he's been down the Lawn since midnight.
He said to me 'It's now 10 o'clock and i have not seen or heard from any of our Councillors'
Shame on you Councillors!
They probably had one of their many Christmas jollies last night so all will have hangovers today. Just proves a point of how useless they are and how we can manage without them. Think about cost savings here.
The irony of 'FredBassett' whining on about hangovers is not lost on those who read his drunken rant posted at 1am on EoD!!!!!
I saw three unpaid councillors in town this morning. I also saw plenty of locals regretting not having the foresight of people in e.g. Cockwood, who have their own sandbags at the ready.
Hopefully all have home insurance. Best wishes to them all, and SHAME on those trying to score cheap political points at this time.
