@Mcjrpc I will most certainly be keeping everyone up to date on what happens.  I've deliberately avoided giving a running commentary on the ideas posted here as I don't think that helps.  I'd much rather read other people's ideas. Carer - Your posting crossed with mine I can 100% guarantee that no posting would have been removed.  It is for each group in town to submit their events listing using the automated process and I can only summarise this was not done See page 4 of TC newsletter on the website for Carnival publicity

The events listing on the town council website operates by the organisers of events submitting their own entries which are then automatically placed on the website so long as they are in no way illegal.  ( underage drinking Raves etc) If there is not an advert for the carnival then it must mean that one was not submitted. I have asked Devon County Council for an update on the work being done by the private owners to repair the wall at the bottom of Teignmouth Hill, and when we can expect the traffic control to be removed I am told: (1)   More of the wall still needs to be taken down to complete the safety works and more scaffold to be put up.
