On the thread Daawlish there are two people, Viaduct and Jambuster who reckon the carnival committee help themselves to some of the proceeds. I think this is a rotten accusation If I was a member would make me want to give up. These people put in a lot of time and effort

So we wont get a new supermarket, Dawlish probably wont be regenerated in the way we want it, housing will always be an issue, jobs cost of living etc etc But we live in a lovely place and we care I have looked at forums all over the county not one is as active as this one, people make a noise on this forum and the powers to be read it the council know how we feel.Be gratfull for what we have our ...

The cameras were probably paid for out of the regeneration money. If thats true about the council then it is disgusting we are supposed to have freedom of press

Are you saying the Co op are more ethical than other supermarkets? I go to an independent greengrocers and butchers in Teignmouth. Tescos sell more locally produced food than any other supermarket. They all rip ooour farmers off

Hope your right

Affordable housing comes in a variety of ways part ownership where the person pays mortgage on their share and a bit of rent. Tennants pay rent for council/housing association homes. As you pointed out wages round here are rubbish young adults cannot get on the housing ladder or afford the astronomical rents on the paltry wages.
