To open a shop like that, the seller will have to have a lot of money to start the business. Apart from you, how many others will use it? It is NOT a financially viable business in this town. The Investigator has spoken.

Cant you understand that Large out of town supermarkets are the cause of town centre decay? If I shopped at Tesco when its built, I will drive home, and have NO reason to go down the strand to shop. @PJD I agree, but IN TOWN, not on the outskirts, because that is where the spawn of the devil (Tescos) will build their monument to greed, and the destruction of town centres. Let us fight for good shops in the Strand, not Gargantuan structures out of town. The Investigator has spoken.

The Swan Inn now does excellent food. Far superior than all the rubbish you get in town. As for the Lansdown, who in their right mind would want to eat there? Same as a lot of other places in town.
