Consumer just thought that you should know that i do not suffer from inverted snobbery as i shop at Tesco's. All i can say is thank god for Tesco's blue & white stripe no frills and value for money.

What a nightmare for the shops up there!
yes it's been proposed, and its for essential repairs to a collapsed sewer. There's never a good time to close the road and unfortunately it needs doing. If it's left the road could start collapsing and end up being done as an emergency in the middle of the summer !!!

For starters it is Lidl's, and to be honest who would really want to buy food from a foreign supermarket. At least in Tesco's or Sainsbury's you don't need a phrase book to understand what you are buying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whilst bullying is of course a school issue let us not forget that unfortunately bullying can happen at any school including those schools that find themselves towards the top end of those highly suspect school league tables. Thanks for the info. What I did when the school did nothing was to contact the police, as the problem became very bad indeed, the school then told me that I should not have contacted the police as they could have delt with it (even though I had geven them plenty of oppertunities). DCC is not my problem any more and my daugghter has had counseling to build her self esteem and she is doing well ...
