A project costing nearly £40m to help protect a coastal railway line in Devon has been completed. The work between Dawlish and Holcombe began in July 2023 and saw Network Rail install protection measures to catch any loose material. A COUPLE who ran a taxi firm in Dawlish have been named by Teignbridge Council after having been stripped of their licences. Michael Miller and Grace Miller, who jointly operated the cab firm Grab A Cab, had their licences, one as the proprietor and of a Hackney Carriage driver, removed after a series of complaints. We have been made aware that a person has knocked on the door of a resident’s house saying they are from Teignbridge District Council and asking for Christmas decorations. This person may have been wearing a high visibility jacket with Teignbridge District Council logo on. We are not collecting any items or donations from houses in our district, and this was not a member of council staff. ...

So after our local MP "warned " the goverment to continue this ( see Nov MDA report post ) it seems they have taken no notice of him but hey its good lib dem  PR to pretend  as if the labour goverment ever would listen to a minority party.

Alledgly all frozen food dumped rather than offered  to charity/foodbanks. . Assume its because they so not want sued in case anyone eats it and complains.
