How about having a police officer who actually walked a beat around Dawlish and got to know what is actually going on. Rather than wasting time talking to the town councillors who seem rather remote from the issues many people are having in Dawlish, in my opinion.

Then you read further into the report that says suspensions are up. You can always cut a report to show whatever stastic you want to portray.

Judging by the number of students you see crossing the road either texting or have the phone to their ears suggest they look at their actions first before going on about road safety.
