I already have! Stopped shopping at Tesco some time ago, staff at Newton were so rude and couldn't be bothered to show you where things were, checkout staff miserable. Why shop there I thought when the other two supermarkets are much more pleasant. I would point out that I shop locally as well. Sent in my objection, hope lots more do too!

The disgusting thing is the bosses are getting paid millions for shutting the PO down !! The MP to send your strongest comments to is mcfaddenp@parliament.uk Petitions will not work with the PO, they have already decided and a list of names means nothing to them. Once these POs are lost they will not come back and communities will lose not only their services, but the social network that is vital ...

yes maybe the shops will although some chains do pay more than the standard plus perks. What it may do if we move upmarket is influence offices etc to move here instead of outskirts of Exeter if there were sufficient modern office accommodation say at Shutterton for them. All jobs are not in shops!

My daughter and son in law have just returned from a lovely meal at the above. Unfortunately it was spoilt by a group of local youths aged about 20 who came in for a meal. There were about 6 or 7 of them all immature, talking childishly loud on their mobiles, insulting staff with their racist remarks and generally being extremely obnoxious. Does anyone know who to contact re ducklings struggling at far end of brook tonight. Crowds of people watching. Spoke to local councillor's wife who was no help whatsoever just said nature will take its course, or the seagulls will get them, didn't know who to contact as wildlife warden was temporary. If anyone online who knows who to contact please do so.
