seagulls in dawlish

This has been discussed so many times. Years ago before people ate in the street and threw packing on the ground, the seagulls would stay out at sea and on cliffs. Now in town is best for them.. I saw a family feeding them with chips this week by the river, then the family get annoyed and fed up with them when they did not want to give them anymore! I assure you if you dont have food in your hand ...

People SHOULD be named and shamed rather than protected. A picture displayed .. bring back the old stocks or just something where people can really humilate an offender.

I agree .. they are so sad with the noisy exhaust and think they are so clever. Should not be allowed on the road until 21. Taxi drivers are also a law until themselves, I have seen them doing U turns and why do so many over the pavement to park ? It would be good if there could be speed cameras that would take the number plate and there could be funded by the penalties received.. would be ...

..where are all the suggestions then ??? .. my goodness it says it all.

It is time to have people register with you properly with their name and address.. that would stop all the childish postings, because those people would not bother to go to all the necessary registration required. Or do away with the discussion section completely, as it gives a poor reflection on Dawlish. You would never ever see the kind of comments here printed in a local paper, yet this is ...

none of you seem to know much about how the end of great cliff affected people. i worked there for the last one and a half years and its was a retirement home and it was well run and full of nice satff who all had to find new jobs within a few weeks and as for the residents about 90% of them were born and bred here and as soon as great cliff found out it was going to close they had to find homes ...

Remember, young unmarried mums get priority for all housing and benefits.No need to contribute a single bean into the system.The workers will do all that. Have their pleasure, have their brat and let someone else pay for it.Seems like a good system,eh?

Thats the precentage of the population that contribute to this discussion board. What is it that is so uniquely apathetic about people who live in Dawlish? There are two primary schools so its not all computer illiterate old folk. As I mentioned before, the letters in the Dawlish Post are all written by people who live elsewhere. Something in the sea air perhaps or maybe its that mist. WAKE ...
